The WLA Support Staff and Circulation Services (SSCS) conference will be held Thursday, May 23, 2019 in Eau Claire.
This one-day conference will be held on the Chippewa Valley Technical College campus in Eau Claire, and the theme will be “Help Yourself, Help Your Library.”
The conference planning committee is now accepting proposals and recommendations for presentations, panels, and workshops. Suggested topics include but are not limited to: stress reduction, managing difficult patrons, training new workers, library safety, creating a positive organizational culture, bridging the generational divide, organizational techniques, career building, work-life balance, etc.
Presenters should fill out the online registration form by Friday, March 29, 2019.
Presenters will be notified of acceptance by April 15 at the latest.
