The Rib Lake Public Library and Tomahawk Public Library are the recipients of the 2019-2020 Innovation and Collaboration Literacy Grant.
Join us in congratulating these libraries for their passion, imagination, and big dreams. Now wish them well as they roll up their sleeves and get to work.
Both libraries will completely change the design of an area within their library with a seventeen-foot mural from a local artist, new or repurposed furniture, bright and inviting colors, clouds, trees and signage. They will also have interactive themes and purchased materials. These librarians are shooting for the stars.
Annette Miller, Children’s Librarian for the Tomahawk Public Library, and Krista Blomberg, Children’s Librarian for the Rib Lake Public Library, will share their triumphs and tribulations through this exciting process.
Miller and Blomberg will visit each other’s spaces in March to further brainstorm and add to their vision before beginning their project plan.
