This year’s Children’s Book Fest will be held on March 10-11 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 135 E. Larch Street in Rhinelander.

Agenda:

  • Tuesday Evening, March 10 Information and Registration (1.5 CE credits for CCBC Book Talk)
  • Wednesday, March 11 Information and Registration (2 CE credits for CCBC Book Talk)

Children’s literature specialists from the nationally acclaimed Cooperative Children’s Book Center (CCBC) in Madison, Wisconsin will discuss books for children and young adults at an evening presentation on Tuesday, March 10 as well as a day presentation on March 11. CCBC staff will discuss current trends in children’s literature and present a book talk highlighting some of the best books. The $10 fee to attend covers  booklists, a CCBC Honorarium, and refreshments.

Gather with school and public librarians at the Hodag Lanes following the morning book talk from the Children’s Cooperative Book Center. Travel a mile up the road to enjoy lunch, camaraderie, and door prizes! Please RSVP to Anne Hamland at ahamland@wvls.org or join the group on the day when you know your schedule.
