Due to retirement, the Minocqua Public Library is seeking an energetic, innovative and service oriented individual for the position of library director. Minocqua is a vibrant and welcoming tourist/resort community located in Wisconsin’s beautiful northwoods. The town features excellent schools and medical facilities, numerous clubs and organizations, and exceptional cultural and recreational opportunities.

Applicants must be eligible for Grade 2 Wisconsin Public Library Certification (see requirements at dpi.wi.gov/pld/certification). Applicants with at least three years’ experience in supervision and/or administration in a public library are preferred; however, equivalent experience will be considered. The salary range for this full time, salaried position is $47,000 to $52,000, commensurate with experience. The benefit package includes health and dental insurance, paid holidays and paid time off (vacation and sick leave), plus enrollment in the Wisconsin Retirement System.
