The Stoughton Public Library <https://www.stoughtonpubliclibrary.org/> is seeking an enthusiastic and creative full-time (40 hours per week) professional Youth Services Librarian to oversee operations of the Youth Services Department, including programming for ages birth – 11, outreach, and collection development.

This position requires a Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited program and 1-3 years of library experience with a background in youth services.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to schedule innovative and creative programming for children, teach the use of the public library to young people, and provide excellent customer service to children and
their caregivers at our Children’s Services desk.

This job also includes the opportunity to collaborate with our Teen Services Library Assistant and Stoughton Area School District. The work includes some nights and weekends.

Starting wage range is $24.16 – $28.60 hourly with an excellent benefits package.
