The Neenah Public Library seeks an innovative, energetic, knowledgeable, community-minded, and patron-focused Deputy Director to assist the Director and staff in providing library services. The Deputy Director manages both the Technical Services and Adult Services Departments.
Join a committed and creative staff of forty-seven, plus over seventy-five volunteers, serving a service area population of 50,000 from a beautiful 50,000-square-foot building on the banks of the Fox River. We consistently fall amongst the top ten highest circulating libraries in Wisconsin. With a supportive community and Library Board and an operating budget for 2023 of over $2 million, staff can be creative and innovative, with ideas such as the Bibliocycle, Short Story Night at a local pub, book subscription services, Take & Create at-home program kits, and outreach to each school in the district. Neenah Public Library is a member of the collaborative Winnefox Library System, a federation of thirty libraries in five counties.
