The Wisconsin Valley Library Service (WVLS) is awarding scholarships to member library staff to attend the 2025 IUG (Innovative User Group) Conference. This year’s annual conference will be held March 13-15 in Denver, Colorado.

The three-day IUG Conference offers dozens of sessions ranging from general interest to specialized topics. Many opportunities are provided to meet and share ideas with librarians from around the world. Programs are prepared by individuals from libraries and members of the Innovative Interfaces staff. Valued at $2,500, this scholarship can be used to cover such travel expenses as:

  • Regular conference registration

  • Roundtrip economy class air transportation

  • Up to four nights of conference lodging

  • Wisconsin airport parking

  • Mileage to/from airport at $.70/mile

Applicants must have two years of experience working in technical services in public libraries at the time of application. Advanced experience in using Sierra is preferred.
